Sept. 28

Aid call: 1:19 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). After firefighters evaluated a middle-aged woman at Ilalko Elementary School who was feeling lightheaded, they recommended she be seen at a local hospital. A private ambulance transported the woman to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Sept. 29

Aid call: 1:10 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated an older fellow who was complaining of chest pain, and a private ambulance scooted him off to a local hospital.

Sept. 30

Aid call: 8:20 a.m., (Algona). Firefighters and King County Medics treated a man who was complaining of chest pain, and a private ambulance zipped him off to MAMC.

Oct. 1

Accident: 7:57 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated and treated a young motorcyclist who’d been involved in a collision with a car, and a private ambulance motored him off to a local area hospital.

Oct. 2

Aid call: 1 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a young child who had gotten his or her finger caught in a door hinge, got the finger out, and an aid unit transported the youngster all the way to MAMC.

Oct. 3

Fuel spill: 12:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters summoned to a spill in the parking lot at the Outlet Collection found a small amount of diesel fuel leaking from a vehicle. Firefighters applied absorbent and contacted the owner, who was having the vehicle towed.

Oct. 4

Accident: 12:27 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responded to a one-car accident on State Route 167. The vehicle had left the road, gone down an embankment and rolled onto its top. Firefighters treated the lone occupant at the scene for minor injuries, but he refused to go to a hospital. Firefighters left the young man at the scene with the Washington State Patrol.
