Sept. 5

Aid call: 1 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters responded to a woman who was showing stroke-like symptoms, and a private ambulance transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC) for treatment.

Sept. 6

Animal rescue: 8:03 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). When a local homeowner notified firefighters that a deer was trapped in a chain link fence, firefighters zipped to the scene, cut the fence, freed the animal’s leg, and watched as it cautiously moved toward the woods. Firefighters notified the Department of Fish & Wildlife about the situation.

Sept. 7

Aid call: 8:05 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to an older man who was complaining of weakness, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

Sept. 8

Vehicle accident: 3:48 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters who’d been dispatched to a three-car accident found two men, whom they treated at the scene for minor injuries. A private ambulance transported one of the men to MAMC.

Sept. 9

Aid call: 3:33 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated a man who was having a diabetic problem, and then left him at home with his family.

Sept. 10

Car fire: 10:27 a.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters quickly extinguished a vehicle fire near The Outlet Collection. The fire is under investigation.

Sept. 11

Aid call: 9:50 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated an Auburn senior who was complaining of left-shoulder pain, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.
