Firefighters from Valley Regional Fire Authority will be out on Friday, Nov. 25 from 6:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. with boots in hand for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Local firefighters are volunteering their time to participate in the annual Fill-The-Boot campaign for the MDA. They will be located on the intersections of Market Street and 15th Street Southwest along with Supermall Way and 15th Street Southwest on Black Friday ready to collect donations from motorists throughout the busy shopping morning.

Committed to ending neuromuscular diseases, the International Association of Fire Fighters is a longtime friend and supporter of the MDA. Fill-the-boot drives are the primary means by which the IAFF has raised almost $435 million for MDA since 1954.
