The Valley Regional Fire Authority, in partnership with UpTekk Recycling, hosts a Free electronics recycling event on Friday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at VRFA Headquarters Fire Station 31, 1101 D St. NE, Auburn.

Those who reside within the VRFA service area are invited to bring all unwanted personal electronics, such as:

• Computers and computer parts (computer hard drives will be wiped of personal data free-of-charge)

• Monitors

• Laptops

• Keyboards

• Mice

• Cords

• Printers

• Ink cartridges

• Copiers

• Stereo equipment, parts, speakers

• Telephones

• Cellphones

• Chargers

• VCRs

• DVD players

• TVs

• LCDs

This event is for personal electronics only. Household items, appliances, yard debris or chemicals will not be accepted.
