The Valley Regional Fire Authority will be performing a practice burn on Stewart Road (8th Street) today through through next Thursday, July 24. Although most of the activity will be performed during the day and during non-peak hours, some traffic congestion will occur, according to the City of Pacific.

On Thursday, traffic will be detoured to prevent situations of smoke lowering drivers viability. Until such time, fires in the building will be smaller and confined to particular areas.
