Women’s self-defense seminar to benefit Auburn Food Bank, families

Black Tiger Tactical and Karate Northwest host a women’s self-defense seminar April 14 to raise money for the Auburn Food Bank to assist women and children in abusive living environments.

The seminar, which will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Karate Northwest, 2109 Auburn Way N., Suite D, educates women on how to keep them and families inside and outside your home.

The course is based on reality. Participants actively participate in simulated attack scenarios in a safe and controlled environment.

Cost is a suggested $30 donation. Space is limited.

Equipment required: appropriate training clothing, footwear, towel and bottle of water.
