Arthur Coe Corbaley

Art Corbaley, 85 of Auburn WA died July 21, 2010. He was born August 12, 1924 in Puyallup WA. His parents, Glenn A. and Gladys Marie Corbaley along with his brothers Glenn R. and Lawrence preceded him in death. He graduated from Puyallup High School in 1942 and was further educated as a Radio-Signalman and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He attended Refrigeration School in Chicago and worked as a repairman then salesman at Mike Wood Furniture and Appliance in Auburn for 40 years. He married Ruth Elaine Wehmhoff June 23, 1950 and adored his life partner for 60 years. They raised 6 children; Carl (Leslie), Craig (Shirley), Sue Wood (Bob), Sally Myers (Ernie), Sandy Combo (Jamey) and Kirk (Kirsten). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild in the basket. Art was an avid fisherman, golfer, sports fan, gardener, jokester and lover of all his family and friends.Memorial service was held July 28, 2010 He was buried at the Tahoma National Cemetery.
