Barbara (Lucy) Lucile Leen

June 4, 1928 – November 13, 2014

Barbara Lucile Leen (Lucy), 86, died peacefully, with her daughter by her bedside at Auburn Regional Medical Center on November 13, 2014.

She had three daughters with her husband of 60 years, Derald (Tyke) Leen who preceded her in death in 2007. Jeanne Coffey (John), Connie Nelson (Jim) and Barbara Kay Leen. She is survived by her oldest daughter, Jeanne Coffey, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren as well as a brother in North Dakota and a sister in Renton, WA.

Tyke and Lucy raised their family in Auburn where they lived in the same home for 56 years.

After retiring from First Interstate Bank, they became snowbirds and traveled in their motor-home to Yuma, AZ for 20 years. For the past 8 years Lucy had been volunteering at the Auburn Senior Center several days a week where she became very well known for her pinochle card game skills. Lucy was very blessed with family and friends who loved her and will always remember her.

Per Lucy’s request, there will be no funeral services.
