Bella Kasper

Bella Kasper, 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, in Federal Way. Born August 29, 1926 in Seattle, WA, Bella spent all 84 years of her life in the South King County area. Bella, and her husband, Gene Kasper, owned & operated Kasper’s Apparel Store on East Main Street in Auburn for many years. Bella enjoyed knitting, shopping, bowling, bridge, and spending time with all her grandchildren. Preceding Bella in death are her husband Eugene Kasper; sisters Katherine Ration and Rosie Kaplin; and her parents Ralph & Jenny Angel. She is survived by a son Craig Kasper (Carrie) of Puyallup; daughter Kathy Kasper (Ed) of Auburn; brothers Lee Angel, and Sam Angel; sisters Annie Peterson and Fran Dolgoff; 8 grandchildren; and her devoted, Maltese dog, “Kobie.” The family would like to thank Bella’s caregivers Doreen Walsh and Sarah Kiener, for their special, tender, care of our mother over last month. Your love for our mother will not be forgotten. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at Price – Helton Funeral Home, 702 Auburn Way N, Auburn, WA 98002. A formal funeral procession will then leave Price – Helton Funeral Home, and travel down Main Street, where Bella & Gene spent so many years serving the Auburn community.
