Beverly Laukala (87), of Auburn, Washington passed away on February 24, 2023, at Merrill Gardens surrounded by loved ones. Beverly was born in Minot, North Dakota to William “Bill” Morey and Ethel May Jack on October 14, 1935.
Beverly is survived by her sons, Dennis Laukala (Phyllis) and Dan Laukala (Kim); grandchildren, Jenny McHargue, Matt Laukala (Maggie), and Kandyse Glascock (Michael); great-grandchildren, Lauren, Alison, Kate, Emily, Matthew, Austyn, Bjorn and Emmeline. Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Delvin and daughter, Lydia Laukala; her parents, Bill and Ethel; and her brothers, Jack Morey and Jim Morey.
Beverly grew up on the family farm in Velva, North Dakota and married Delvin Laukala on August 13, 1953. She enjoyed traveling together with Delvin in their motorhome, doing family genealogy, working in her yard or on their farm in Mosses Lake, and being with her family. She had a very generous spirit and always wanted to help.
Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Auburn, Washington on March 7, 2023, for family only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org
