Charles Thomas Cramer

December 29, 1935 – August 22, 2020

Charles (Tom) Cramer eldest son of Charles E and Pearl Cramer passed away at the age

of 84 while hospitalized in Walla Walla, WA. He attended Auburn High School and le

in the fall of 1952 to enlist in the Air Force on his 17th birthday. Tom served our country

as an aircra mechanic for 20 years in various locations Stateside and in Europe. Prior

to his rst tour to Germany, he married Phyllis (Barthol) Cramer; they celebrated their

66th wedding anniversary on February 26, 2020. Together, they raised four children:

Roger, Lori, Randy and Linda. A er retirement from the Air Force as a Sta Sargent, he

worked the next 21 years for the Boeing Co as an electronics technician on the AWACS

program. He retired again in 1995. He and Phyllis enjoyed traveling together around

the country but would always return to their familiar home in the South Puget Sound

region. In 2019, they relocated to Dayton, WA.

Tom will be remembered for his service, his steadfastness and his strength. He was an

ever-present help and support for his family. Under his rough exterior was a so heart

and unsel sh spirit. We grieve our loss but are comforted knowing he is now in his

eternal home in heaven.

Preceeding in death are Tom’s parents and brother, John Paul Cramer. Surviving are wife

Phyllis, son Roger Dean, daughter Lori Lynn Semler, son Randell Eugene and daughter

Linda Lee Fiske as well as 13 grandchildren and12 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services were held at the King’s Ranch in Eatonville on Sunday, September 6;

Military Memorial and Internment at Tahoma National Cemetery on September 10, 2020.
