Charlotte Fernandez passed away at her home on January 27th, 2020 with family by her side. She was born June 9th, 1947 in Seattle, WA to Alex and Mary Cruz. Raised in Kent, WA and graduated from Kent Meridian High School in 1965. Charlotte married Edward “Cookie” Fernandez, they had three children, and have lived in Auburn, WA for more than 55 years.

Charlotte enjoyed cooking for the family and Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday. She retired from Boeing after 25 years. After retirement she enjoyed going to the ocean, eating fish and chips by the water, and going to the casino. She battled MS since 2002 and was diagnosed with stage 4b cervical cancer in April 2019.

Charlotte is preceded in death by daughter Sherry and father Alex. She is survived by her husband Edward, son Duane and granddaughter Natasha, and son Edward Jr. Siblings Rosemary, Roy, Elaine, and Randy and mother Mary.
