Christine Grace Sievers Detton

Christine Grace (Sievers) Detton passed away on October 10, 2010. She was born December 1, 1917 in Republic, WA to Ernst Ludolf Sievers and Jessie Lou Wheeler. A resident of Auburn, WA since 1952, she was pre-deceased by her husband of 60 years, Lars Virgil Detton in 2000. Her world was defined by Auburn,family, friends, her home and Church. She was a traditional woman who excelled in the home making arts with great talent as a seamstress and dressmaker. She loved to shop, vacation in Maui, family dinners and especially Christmas, grandchildren and family reunions. She was a long-time member of P.E.O. and the L.D.S. Church. She is survived by daughters Dianna Lu Larsen (Garrett),Candice Lee Chamberlain (Robert), grandchildren Phaidra Manns, Sarine Laird, Brianna Chamberlain, Braiden Chamberlain, Chad Hitchens, and Torin Larsen; great-grandchildren Christina and Amanda Laird; Jorde, Benjamin and Shayne Hitchens; Avery,Bronwyn and Charlotte Chamberlain.Viewing at noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 15 at Price Helton Funeral Chapel, 702 Auburn Way N., Auburn, WA.
