Daniel Hiranaka, 90, of Kent, Washington, passed away on May 30, 2021, surrounded by his immediate family.

He was born on August 13, 1930 in Kent, Washington, to Heisaku Hiranaka and Takeyo (Shirosaki) Hiranaka. Dan was the youngest of nine children, and grew up in the Kent valley on the family farm.

He is survived by his sister Betty, his wife Grace, their sons David (Donna), Douglas, Garth (Michelle) and daughter Leslie (Darryl) Martin and six grandchildren.

The family asks that people make donations to support the Auburn Food Bank, in lieu of sending flowers.
