David K. Erickson

David K. Erickson was born October 3, 1938 in San Francisco, California and passed away March 20, 2011 in Auburn, Washington. After high school, David enlisted in the U.S. Army for 6 years and then owned a bakery in Georgia for 2 1/2 years where he made all the cakes and pastries. In 1965, David moved to Washington where he got a job at Boeing as a cook. In 1967, started working for U.S. Postal Service in Kent for 26 years. David was an excellent bowler. He was on the Jr. and Adult Bowling League with is daughters, son and father league. He also enjoyed darts, softball, chess, pinnacle, canasta, blackjack, and dancing. David is survived by his significant other; Mary Widger and children he had with Ella Quine; daughters Etta M. De La Fuente, Ella M. Ward, and son; David K. Erickson Jr., seven grandchildren; and three brothers, and three sisters. A memorial service will be held, 12:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2011 at Price-Helton Funeral Home, 702 Auburn Way N. Auburn WA.
