Edmond R (Dick) Plummer
Edmond Plummer, father, friend and mentor passed away peacefully in his home January 22, 2016.
He is survived by his 3 children, multiple grandchildren, brother and sister.
He was born to Ed & Eloise Plummer in Nebraska, September 26, 1941. He grew up on the Oregon Coast in Wheeler, Oregon, graduating from Neahkanie High School in 1959. He was voted most likely to succeed his senior year.
He went on to attend Oregon State University where he began his internship in banking. He spent his career in banking working for US Bank in Portland, before moving on to a number of community banks holding VP positions. He finished his career as Senior Commercial Loan Officer for Valley Bank in Auburn, WA where he resided for 20 plus years.
His passions included fishing, camping, running, tennis, golf, and reading. He was also an avid sports fan. His favorites included the Oregon State Beavers, Blazers, Mariners and Seahawks. He had been extremely active in Kiwanis Club of Auburn and was a well-known leader and respected man in his Auburn Community.
His dry sense of humor, generosity and love of his family will always be cherished. We miss you Dad and no words can express what you meant to us and the legacy that you have left. We will all aspire to live our lives for our families as you did for us.
Memorial Service and celebration of life is being held Feb. 20th, 3:30 at Real Life Church in Vancouver, Washington. 2202 SE Bella Vista Rd, Vancouver, WA 98683.
