John Lee Ruane, 44

Born in Seattle, Washington to John Patrick Ruane and Normalee Fern Ruane on July 25, 1963 and passed away on July 14 in Auburn. John graduated from Auburn High School in 1981 and served in the Air Force. Beloved son, brother and father with two children, John was kind and caring. An employee of Boeing for over 20 years, John will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.John was preceded in death by his mother Normalee Ruane. He is survived by his father: John Patrick Ruane, sisters: Jackie Hogan and Susanne Hanlon, brother: Michael Ruane, and two daughters: Jennifer Ruane and Savanah Ruane.Visitations were held at Price-Helton in Auburn on Tuesday 7/22 Noon – 8pm and Wednesday 9am – 6pm. Vigil was at 6pm on Wednesday. Funeral Mass was held at St. John the Baptist in Covington on Thursday at 9am with burial at Tahoma National Cemetery following the service. Charitable donations can be made in John’s honor to the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation of Washington, DC.
