Louise Williamson went home peacefully to be with her Lord on November 7, 2011. Born in Port Townsend, WA, in December 1918 to Harry and Evelyn (McCurdy) Chappelear, raised in Gardiner and Sequim, WA, she married George H. Williamson Sr. (Hank) in Seattle, WA, in December 1941, and resided in Seattle, WA, and Auburn, WA, with her husband until his passing in June 1991. Louise recently resided in a loving adult family home in Seattle, WA. She is survived by her son, George H. Williamson Jr. (Mary) Seattle; grandsons, Brian (Stacy) and Mark (Janna); great-grandchildren, Jacqueline Anne, Katie Louise and Cole Henry; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Growing up in Gardner and Sequim, WA, Louise came to Seattle where she attended a business college and later worked as an executive secretary for many years. Louise and Hank were members of the Federal Way Rock and Gem Club where she served as secretary. They attended White River Presbyterian Church in Auburn and served in many capacities. After her husband’s passing Louise was a Deacon at the church and helped in feeding the homeless and visiting the sick and elderly.Louise enjoyed nature, long rides, reading, cooking, and visiting family and friends. Her strong spirit, deep faith in God and beautiful sense of humor will live on in the hearts of her family and the many who knew and loved her.A Memorial Service will be held at Yahn & Son Funeral Home, Auburn, WA, on Wednesday, November 30, at 11 am. Remembrances can be made to your favorite charity, the Union Gospel Mission or North Highline Fire District Aid Car Fund, Seattle, WA.
