Nellie Gleason

Nellie Gleason, lifelong resident of Auburn, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 25, 2014 at Auburn Regional Medical.

Nellie was a bank teller for many years in Auburn, she retired from the Auburn Branch of 1st Interstate Bank which later became Wells Fargo. Nellie was a 1945 graduate of Auburn High School, and married Don Gleason in 1947.

Nellie was preceded in death by her husband Don Gleason; she is survived by her daughters Debbie Caldwell-Fent(Mike), Connie Gleason (Jeffrey Buetow), her son Dan Gleason (Mary), grandson Jason Fent (Sarah), Kristen (Gleason) May and the most recent light of her life great granddaughter Taylor Fent.

The family will host an open house to celebrate the life of Nellie on Saturday, October 18th at Rio Verde Clubhouse 1402 22nd St NE, Auburn, WA from 1 to 3:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the NW Kidney Foundation, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
