Phillip Lee Moore

Phillip Lee Moore

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Phillip Lee Moore of Auburn, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 22, 2014.

He was born January 19, 1933 in Seattle, grew up in Black Diamond and attended White River High School. He entered the Air Force in 1952, served in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1960. He worked at Cenex in Auburn for 14 years and operated Walt’s Radiator and Muffler in Downtown Puyallup for 25 years.

He loved going to his grandchildren’s activities and would only miss if he couldn’t be at two places at once. He was always the life of the party and brought a smile to everyone’s face.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith; daughter Kim; son Jeff (Wendy); daughter Ann (Jeff); and 5 grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyler, Madison, Logan, and Mikala and hundreds of family and friends who loved and will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Community Church in Sumner on Saturday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m. Remembrances can be made in his name to the Auburn Valley Humane Society www.auburnvalleyhs.org as he never met a pet he didn’t love.
