The death of Phillip M. Tollefson is being mourned by family and friends. Phillip, 77, passed from this life on Monday, January 27, 2020 in Clay Center, KS.

Born October 1, 1942 in Malta, Montana, Phillip was the son of Helmer and Thelma (Harrod) Tollefson.

Phillip grew up in Auburn, WA. He was a 1961 graduate of Auburn High School and attended Green River Community College.

On November 16, 1974 he married Crystal Adamson.

Phillip worked for Dudley Boat and Trailer in Sumner, WA before moving to California where he worked for Continental Door in Rocklin, CA. He retired from Bailey Truck Lines, Abilene, KS in 2008.

Phillip was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center.

Survivors include wife Crystal Tollefson of Clay Center, KS; daughters, Tina and husband Scott Mueller of Hugoton, KS and Tanya and husband JJ Waters of Tebbetts, MO; his three sisters, Bliss Killham of Bellevue, WA., Gladys Briggs and husband Tom of Kent, WA., and Hazle Heth and husband Bob of Polson, MT.; his seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; Karl, Dale, and Forrest; and brother-in-law Phillip Killham.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
