SUSAN ELAINE (SERQUINIA) FAHLGREN

Susan Elaine (Serquinia) Fahlgren passed away November 10, 2018, of an aortic aneurysm. Susan was born October 6, 1949, to Marcelino and Joyce Serquinia of Auburn, WA.

She was our family’s pack leader and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. She was married for 50 years to Richard Fahlgren who recently passed away this last October. They have two children, Timothy Fahlgren (Aneta Lis), Christine Kinney, and one grandson, Kaleo Kinney, who Susan adored and raised for most of his life. Also missing her are her brother Lori Serquinia (Lauri) and sister Jomarie Bell (John).

Susan was an excellent and enthusiastic cook who doted on feeding us, which is why our family gatherings were always at her house. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, clamming at the ocean and especially going to the casino with her sister. She may have been short in stature but was one of the tallest people I’ve ever known. She battled lupus since she was 23 but had the best outlook on life and a great sense of humor. She was admired by everyone who came into her life.

A celebration of her life will be held at Yahn and Son December 1st at 11:00.
