“Dick” Walter Richard Hutchens

“Dick” Walter Richard Hutchens, born September 16, 1948 in Renton, Washington and passed away on April 29, 2009 in Auburn, Washington.After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He worked as a commercial truck driver and retired from United Stationers in 2003. He was an active member in the Auburn Eagles and the VFW. His hobbies included Hot Rod Cars like his 1957 Chevy and collection of over 400 Japanese Kokeshi Dolls.Dick was preceded in death by his father; Roy Hutchens. He is survived by his wife, Donna Hutchens; sons, Larry Hutchens, Grant Hutchens; mother, Marie Hutchens; brother, Doug Hutchens; sisters, Sandra Fuller, and Nancy Church; as well as two grandchildren, Roy Murphy and Kari Hutchens.A memorial service will be held; 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009 at Price-Helton Funeral Home, 702 Auburn Way North in Auburn. A reception will follow at St. Matthews Episcopal Church.Memorial contributions may be made to American DiabetesAssociation and St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
