Wanda Sicilia Benson

Wanda Sicilia Benson was born on the family farm near Alsen, ND on February 26, 1915. She married Hamar in 1951 and the family grew to include seven children, 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Wanda lived in Auburn since 1979. She enjoyed the Sons of Norway, the Auburn Senior Citizens Center, and her special friends at Family of Grace Church. She died at peace, 98 years old, surrounded by family, where she wanted to be. Her family wishes to thank Hospice for their skill and guidance during the last months of her life. And to Beth for being there to the end. The memorial service will be held this Saturday, March 23, 2013, 2 pm, at Family of Grace Church in Auburn. Donations to Family of Grace.
