Alfrey shines in Lions’ loss to Royals

Auburn, Auburn Mountainview to meet in Pink Out game this Friday

Sophomore running back Berkley Alfrey ran for 195 yards and a touchdown in Auburn Mountainview’s 38-27 North Puget Sound League loss to Kent-Meridian at Auburn Memorial Stadium this past Friday night.

Carson Klemetsen and Drew Davenport each threw a TD pass for the Lions (1-4). Mark Tishchenko and Bill Benjamin each caught a scoring pass.

Auburn Mountainview takes on Auburn (1-4) in the schools’ Pink Out game at 7 p.m. this Friday.

The Trojans are coming off a 55-15 loss at Hazen.

Friday is the schools’ joint Pink Out Tailgater, with funds raised supporting the American Cancer Society. There will be booths and other activities before the game in the parking lot.
