• Sport: Football.

• Accomplishment: Embody showed the Auburn football team is about more than just rushing the ball, pulling in a pair of touchdowns – one for

23 yards and the other for 46 – in a

49-0 rout of Kent-Meridian in the annual Taylor Trophy showdown on Sept. 19.

• Favorite class: U.S. History.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (NBA star) Yao Ming and I would have BBQ.

• Also noted: Embody also runs varsity track at Auburn High and hopes to attend a Pac-10 university after high school.

SYDNEY COLEMAN

AUBURN MOUNTAINVIEW

• Grade: Sophomore.

• Sport: Soccer.

• Accomplishment: Coleman scored a pair of goals, helping the Lions get past Capital 3-0 on Thursday, Sept. 18 and improve to 4-1 overall heading into play this week.

• Favorite class: Advanced Algebra.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: If I could invite anyone to dinner, I would invite my uncle Jim because he died when I was really young and I would want to see him. I would serve orange-mandarin marinated steak with garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus. And, for dessert, I would serve apple pie a la mode.

DALTON THOMAS

AUBURN RIVERSIDE

• Grade: Senior.

• Sport: Football.

• Accomplishment: Thomas pulled in five receptions for 69 yards, including a pair of touchdowns, in Auburn Riverside’s 21-14 nonleague win over Beamer on Friday, Sept. 19.
