Auburn (2-7, 2-11) earned its second win of the season with an 8-5 victory against Kent-Meridian (0-10, 2-12) in SPSL North 4A action on Thursday.

Dillon O’Grady had a double and a triple and Xavier West earned the win.

The Trojans travel to Tahoma (5-3, 7-4) at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

ALSO: Auburn Riverside’s two-run fifth inning wasn’t enough to lift the Ravens past SPSL North 4A foe Jefferson in a 3-2 loss Thursday.

Daniel Casanova led the Ravens (4-4 league, 4-7 overall) with two hits and three stolen bases and Brian Darby had two hits.

Darby was tagged with the loss, giving up five hits and three earned runs while striking out six.

Jefferson’s (4-6, 6-6) Niko Dela Cruz earned the win and Thomas Byrne added a home run.

Auburn Riverside travels to Kentlake (4-3, 5-4) at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
