Auburn hosts All-SPSL wrestling tournament | Prep Wrestling

Auburn High School was host to the All-SPSL wrestling tournament this past weekend, featuring 31 teams from all classifications of the South Puget Sound Leagues.

Auburn grappler Josh Tate tangles with Sumner’s A.J. Atoigue during the 152-pound consolation matches at this past week’s All-SPSL Tourney at Auburn High School.

Tate helped the Trojans take home ninth in the team competition his fifth place finish. Auburn scored 104.5 team points. The team competition, which featured 31 teams, was won by Tahoma with 261.5 points. Auburn Riverside was 12th with 97 points, aided by 132-pound Eduard Yakimchuk’s fourth-place finish and Auburn Mountainvew finished 26th with 42 points.
