The Lions delivered Bonney Lake their first loss of the season on Wednesday, with the Lions roaring past the Panthers in a South Puget Sound League 3A match, 25-10, 25-12, 25-17.

Sophomore Sam Odren led Mountainview (3-0 league, 5-3 overall) with 22 assists, with libero Alex Odren contributing 16 digs and 4 aces.

Kelsey Fausko had 12 kills and 2 1/2 blocks and Caitlin Carr contributed 10 kills. Amanda Mozzone added 8 digs.

Bonney Lake (2-1, 7-1) was led by Chelsea Merkel’s 18 assists. Bailey Kinkel added 18 digs.

The Lions will host Lakes at 7 p.m. this Tuesday.
