Emily Martinez and Laurel Tauzer each produced a pair of hits to help Auburn Mountainview to its sixth consecutive victory with a 5-2 win at Peninsula in a South Puget Sound League 3A fastpitch contest.

The Lions (13-3 overall, 12-1 league) will wrap up league play Thursday against Enumclaw (13-1, 12-0). Auburn Mountainview has two regular-season home games remaining after that. The Lions play at 4 p.m. Monday against Seattle Christian and then host Thomas Jefferson at the same time Tuesday.

The West Central/Southwest bi-district tournament begins May 20 at Sprinker Recreation Center in Tacoma.
