Edgar Gonzalez scored a pair of goals, leading Highline past Auburn Mountainview, 2-1, in the Seamount/SPSL 3A sub-district playoffs at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner on Wednesday.

Max Monardez scored for the Lions in the 65th minute.

Despite the loss, Auburn Mountainview heads to the West Central District playoffs as the No. 6 seed. The Lions will play a 1 p.m. match Saturday at Olympia’s Ingersoll Stadium.
