The Auburn Mountainview girls soccer squad were named the Washington State Interscholastic Activities Association’s 3A Girls Soccer Academic Champion on Wednesday.

The Lions posted a cumaltive 3.788 title to win the title, their third.

Auburn Mountainview played its final regular season game – a 0-0 tie with Bonney Lake – on Tuesday. The team will begin postseason play against Mount Rainier at 7:30 p.m. this Wednesday at Renton Stadium.
