Auburn Mountainview lacrosse player Hannah Morse earns U.S. Lacrosse Washington State High School Player of the Week | Lacrosse

Auburn Mountainview senior midfielder Hannah Morse was honored with the U.S. Lacrosse Washington State High School Lacrosse Player of the Week this week.

Morse kicked off the first week of the Girls Division II high school lacrosse season with 17 points – tallying 16 goals, 1 assist and 5 ground balls. In the Lions’ first game on Monday, Morse – who also plays for the Lions’ basketball team and is a four-year letter winner and captain of her school’s soccer team – netted 8 goals, 1 assist and grabbed 5 ground balls in a 15–5 win over Holy Names. This past Friday, the 5-6, 140-pound Morse again went to work scoring another 8 goals in an 11–8 defeat of North Kitsap. Morse maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA at Auburn Mountainview.
