The Auburn Mountainview (18-4) girls basketball team captured the South Puget Sound League/Seamount 3A Sub-district title on Friday with a 42-50 victory against Kennedy Catholic (17-5) at Auburn Mountainview High School.

The Auburn Mountainview (18-4) girls basketball team captured the South Puget Sound League/Seamount 3A Sub-district title on Friday with a 42-50 victory against Kennedy Catholic (17-5) at Auburn Mountainview High School.

The win earned the Lions the No. 1 seed into the West Central District III/Southwest District 4 3A Girls Basketball tournament and a 7:45 p.m. Tuesday game against Lincoln (13-4) at Stadium High School in Tacoma.
