The Lions (5-0 league, 9-1 overall) were led by 6 foot, 3 inch junior Ryan Lacey who poured in a game-high 26 points.

Victor Daggs, a 5-11 junior guard, added 13 points and 6-9 junior post Tristan Miguel added 12 points.

The win sets up an SPSL 3A showdown at 7 p.m. Friday at Peninsula High School against the Seahawks (5-0, 7-1), who are tied with Auburn Mountainview for first-place in league.

ALSO: The Trojan (3-2, 5-6) boys squeaked by Sumner 57-56 in league action at Sumner on Tuesday. Auburn was led by Malik Williams’ game-high 21 points, with 6-2 junior wing Tyler Pray chiming in with 15 and 5-11 senior wing Mut Chuol adding 13. The Trojans – currently third in the SPSL 3A – will travel to last-place Bonney Lake (0-5, 1-10) at 7 p.m. on Friday.
