Auburn Mountainview survives first round of playoffs with 2-0 win over Bremerton, readies for Camas on Saturday | Girls Soccer

The Auburn Mountainview girls shutout the Bremerton Knights 2-0 on Wednesday to advance to the West Central/Southwest District 3A tournament.

Mountainview’s (12-5-0 overall) Madi Clarkson and Sara Jennings provided the scoring against Bremerton at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner, with Sydney Coleman notching an assist.

Jessica McAllister earned the shutout in goal.

The win earned the Lions the No. 5 seed out of the South Puget Sound League 3A/Seamount/Bremerton league tourney and a game against the Southwest No. 1 Camas 2:30 p.m. game Saturday at Camas.

The winner of the loser out contest earns the No. 1 seed into the state tournament beginning next week.
