Auburn Riverside improved to 6-1 overall Friday with a 60-38 non-league win over Emerald Ridge at Auburn Riverside High School.
Tied at 22-22 at the intermission, the Ravens (4-1 South Puget Sound League North 4A, 6-1 overall) held the Jaguars to just 16 second-half points in the win.
Auburn Riverside was led by Rachey Davey’s game-high 16 points, with Simona Allen and Emily Valnes chipping in with 10 points apiece.
The Ravens will play next weeked in the Rebel Challenge tourney Dec. 27-30 at Juanita High School in Kirkland.
ALSO: Auburn (0-5 league, 1-5 overall) fell 65-19 to Kentridge in a league contest Friday at Kentridge High School. The Trojans were led by Latrice Johnson’s six points. Courtnae Williams had a game-high 13 points for the Chargers. Auburn hosts Sumner for a non-league game at 7 p.m. Monday.
