The Trojans exploded for 14 hits, running up a 17-2 win against Kent-Meridian in South Puget Sound League North 4A play this Thursday.

Katie Porter earned the win on the mound, giving up six hits while striking out five and walking six.

Alyssa Lonsbery was 3-of-3 from the dish with two RBIs, two runs and a double. Amber Morrow added 2-of-2 hitting with four RBIs, a double and three runs scored.

The Trojans are now 2-2 in the SPSL North 4A, 3-2 overall.

ELSEWHERE: The Ravens fell to 1-5 in league, 1-6 overall with a 3-2 loss to Jefferson on Wednesday. Alyssa Jarmin was tagged for the loss, pitching seven innings and giving up seven hits and three earned runs. She also had one strikeout and four walks. Kara Jenkins had a home run for Riverside with Ashley Frasier adding 2-of-3 hitting and an RBI.
