Former-Raven goalie Chris Eylander released by Seattle Sounders | Sounders

Auburn Riverside graduate Chris Eylander was released by the Major Leauge Soccer Seattle Sounders today after one season with the squad.

Eylander, 26, made one MLS appearance for the Sounders last season, starting in goal in a 2-0 loss to Chivas USA on April 18, 2009. Eylander also played in a 4-1 U.S. Open Cup play-in victory over Real Salt Lake. He signed with Seattle on January 6, 2009.
