Auburn Riverside junior Andrew Adam performs one of his dives during the 4A state championships at the King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way on Saturday.

Adam captured the 1-meter diving title after coming up third last year and second the year before.

Adam won the 11-dive event with 470.70 points, outdistanding Issaquah’s Robert Gref (445.65).
