The Auburn Riverside girls soccer team ended their season this past weekend with a 1-0 shootout loss to South Kitsap at the West Central District 4A tournament at Mt. Tahoma Stadium in Tacoma.

The Ravens battled the Wolves to a 0-0 tie at the end of regulation before losing the shootout 5-4.

Auburn Riverside finishes the season with a 9-4-5 record. The team finished in second place in the South Puget Sound League North division.

ALSO: The Auburn Mountainview girls soccer team failed to advance to the state 3A tourney, losing 4-0 to undefeated Union in Camas. The Lions finish out their 2008 season with a 12-5-1 record.
