Lions earn spot in regional round of state playoffs | 3A boys basketball

Ryan Lacey scored 23 points as Auburn Mountainview earned a berth in the regional round of the state 3A playoffs with a 77-63 win over Foss in the district playoffs at Clover Park High School on Friday night.

Ryan Lacey scored 23 points as Auburn Mountainview earned a berth in the regional round of the state 3A playoffs with a 77-63 win over Foss in the district playoffs at Clover Park High School on Friday night.

Ki’jan Weisinger and Tristan Miguel each had 16 points and Talan Alfrey had 13 for the Lions, who advance to play Wilson in the semifinals at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Rogers High School.

Auburn Riverside, meanwhile, dropped a 65-59 decision to Enumclaw at Rogers High on Friday. Adrian Hollingsworth led the Ravens with 17 points.

The Ravens remain alive but must navigate the consolation brackets. They face Sumner in an elimination game at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Rogers.
