On Tuesday, Collins produced two of the Lions’ five hits as Auburn Mountainview closed out its regular season with a 3-1 win against Thomas Jefferson. The Lions (14-4) advance to the Class 3A West Central/Southwest bi-district tournament, where they open at 10 a.m. Friday against Wilson.
