Lions roll past Titans 13-7 in NPSL softball

Auburn Mountainview unleashed 11 hits, including three home runs, to sock visiting Todd Beamer 13-7 in a North Puget Sound League Olympic Division softball game Tuesday.

Kayla Fox, Alashae Bell and Purla Duran each drilled home runs and Emily Bartholomew went 4-for-4, including a triple and double, and drove in five runs for the Lions (2-0 division, 5-2 overall). Bell batted in three runs while Lily Hope drove in two more. Leadoff Adrianna Lomeli-Smith went 2-for-5 and scored three runs.

Auburn Mountainview pulled away with eight runs in the second inning. Purla Duran took the win, allowing seven runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out four. Caitlyn Rhoades threw one inning in relief.
