Mountainview blanks Peninsula 5-0 | Prep Boys Tennis

The Lions got wins in all five of their matches on Wednesday, defeating South Puget Sound League 3A rival Peninsula 5-0

Zane Nelson defeated Harvey Johns 7-5, 6-3 in the No 1 singles match, with Kevin Kearney coming out on top against Brent Larison, 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 singles.

In the doubles competition Brenden Chandler and Jeremiah Lotz beat Conor Horkan and Nick Whelan 6-0, 6-7, 6-2 at No. 1 and Mike Hinz and Dillon Hurley were victorious at No. 2 doubles over Penisula’s James Silberman and Matt Myers, with scores of 6-1, 2-6, 7-5. Parker Sheldon and Andy Boraphet completed the sweep at No. 3 doubles with a 6-0, 6-2win over Michael Reinhart and Morgan Iacolucci.
