Ravens blank Lancers in season opener | Girls prep soccer

Talia Samuelson scored a goal and assisted on two others as Auburn Riverside defeated Kennedy Catholic 4-0 in a season-opening North Puget Sound League girls soccer match Tuesday.

Sierra Parshall, Olivia Boulet and Natlalie Lake also scored for the Ravens.

Kiana Gutierrez assisted Samuelson’s goal in the 70th minute.

Bella Reckling earned the shutout.

The Ravens host Lakes at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and entertain Enumclaw on Tuesday.
