Faith Turner scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Auburn Riverside turned away Kamiak of Mukilteo, 51-41, in a 4A state regional girls basketball elimination playoff at Puyallup’s Rogers High School on Friday night.
The Ravens (20-4) advance to play in the first round of the Hardwood Classic at the Tacoma Dome at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday against Sunnyside.
The Knights, meanwhile, were eliminated.
The game was close throughout the second half until Autumn Lee’s 3-pointer ignited Auburn Riverside’s game-ending 12-1 run.
McKenzi Williams, mired in foul trouble, helped push the comeback, finishing with 16 points and eight assists. Olivia Denton had seven points.
Katelyn Huguenin led the Knights with 14 points.
