Auburn Riverside’s Colby Tong finished eighth in the 4A state boys tennis singles championships in Richland last Saturday.

Tong, after dropping his opener, won a pair of matches before falling to Newport’s Payton Namba, 6-2, 6-2, in a match for fifth place.

Auburn’s Bryan Thornquist dropped two matches.

In girls doubles, the Ravens’ Calley Heilborn and Anna Maracich reached the quarterfinals before meeting elimination.
