Trojans erupt to turn back Hornets | SPSL football

Justin Ioimo ran for 135 yards and two touchdowns and passed for another as Auburn defeated Enumclaw 49-37 in a South Puget Sound League 3A football game at Auburn Memorial Stadium on Thursday night.

Justin Ioimo ran for 135 yards and two touchdowns and passed for another as Auburn defeated Enumclaw 49-37 in a South Puget Sound League 3A football game at Auburn Memorial Stadium on Thursday night.

Halleluiah Tiauli ran for a pair of 2-yard TDs and fullback E.J. Brown added a third 2-yard score for the Trojans, who improved to 2-1 in league play, 2-3 overall.

The Hornets dropped to 0-3 and 1-4.

Two of Auburn’s major playmakers – Malik Williams and Kevin Clay – shone. Williams caught a 64-yard pass from Ioimo, and Clay hauled in a 59-yard scoring pass from Gavin Strojan.
