Auburn traffic advisories: road closure, road work

From Monday, Jan. 23, through Friday, Jan. 27, construction related to the BNSF Third Rail project will require a road closure for east- and west-bound traffic on West Main Street, from A Street SW to C Street NW.

The work is not dependent on weather.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction but delays should be expected. Detour routes will be in place.

• On Wednesday, Jan. 18, through Tuesday, Jan. 24, sewer main installation for the Raceway Mini Storage project will require road work at the intersection of 132nd Avenue SE and SE 304th Street between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The work is dependent on weather. Traffic will be controlled by police in the intersection and with flaggers.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction, but delays should be expected.

• On Tuesday, Jan. 17, through approximately Feb. 3, construction of the Wave Broadband Auburn to Enumclaw Fiber Optic Line continues and will require intermittent daytime lane restrictions in both the west-bound and east-bound directions of Auburn Way South/ SR164 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., from SE 368th Place to Hemlock Street SE.

The work is dependent on weather.
